David Tan


David was introduced to CrossFit by Scott Lipman back in 2017. The concept of training to develop a well-rounded model of fitness (e.g. strength, power, endurance, speed, coordination, etc) appealed to David, and the CrossFit method ticks a lot of the boxes. Normally an “explosive but lacking endurance” athlete, CrossFit has helped improve David’s aerobic capacity and taught him to be strategic in his training approach. David also loves the comradery typically found in CrossFit boxes.
David is also a chiropractor specialising in sports performance and injury management, as well as a Level 2 Strength and Conditioning Coach through the Australian Strength and Conditioning Association. He applies his knowledge in functional movement and strength and conditioning into his coaching.
